How does Klarna work?
Klarna is an alternate payment method that allows you to split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments.
Are there requirements to use Klarna?
Yes, you’ll need:
- A CA-issued Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card
- To be 18+ years old
- A CA billing address
- An SMS-capable phone number
How do I sign up?
If your basket is eligible for 4 interest-free payments with Klarna on rejuuv.ca, the option will be presented at checkout. After confirming your phone number, you’ll be sent an SMS message to confirm your identity. You’ll then set up your repayment method with Klarna and accept the terms of your payment plan.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Klarna currently accepts Mastercard or Visa. Please note, prepaid cards are not accepted.
What happens if I don't pay for my order?
Klarna will automatically attempt to collect payment for your purchase from the card that you entered at checkout. You can find out when your payments will be collected in the email that you received at the time of purchase or by logging into your Klarna account. If you need extra time to make a payment, simply log into the Klarna app, go to the “All Orders” page, and select “Payment Options,” then “Extend due date.”
If the automatic payment fails, Klarna will try again after seven days. If this payment also fails, Klarna will make another attempt after a further seven days (14 days after the date of the first attempt). Your credit score will not be impacted by using Klarna’s Pay in Four product even if you have failed to pay on time.
Are there late fees?
There are no interest charges and no fees with Pay later in 4. Pay later in 4 terms available here. For Quebec residents these Pay later in 4 terms are applicable.
FAQs
I see Klarna available at checkout online, but why is the option greyed out?
All items in your cart must be eligible to qualify for Klarna. Current restrictions include:
- Your order must be placed and shipped within Canada
- You cannot buy a Gift Card
- You cannot use multiple payment methods, including gift cards. Klarna must be your sole payment type
- Your order cannot exceed $1000
What if I get declined from using Klarna?
You can use an alternate payment method to complete your purchase. To use Klarna for future orders, please reach out to Klarna’s customer service team to discuss options. You can contact them in the Klarna app or at klarna.com.
Will this affect my credit score?
No. When you sign up for Klarna, they may perform a soft credit check. This will not impact your credit score or show up as a hard inquiry on your credit report.
If the order total changes, how does that affect the 4 payments?
If your order total changes for any reason, the payments will be adjusted accordingly.
If there’s an issue with my order, do I still need to pay for it?
You do not need to pay for goods that aren’t received, or goods that are received damaged, broken, or defective. Follow Klarna’s help instructions and select “Report a Problem” in your Klarna account to pause your payments until the issue is resolved. If you’re issued a refund or order cancellation, Klarna will send an adjusted statement and payment schedule. You can check the status of your payments any time via Klarna’s site or in your Klarna app.
What if the order is cancelled, will I still be charged?*
No, you will not be charged. Please reach out to Klarna’s customer service team in the Klarna app or at klarna.com for any additional support.
How long does it take to reverse a pending authorization?
Most authorizations are reversed within 24 hours, however this is ultimately up to your financial institution.
Has Klarna received my payment?
Klarna will send an email confirmation for all completed payments. You can also call or chat live with Klarna’s customer service agents 24/7 to confirm payment.
Can I pay before the due date?
Yes. If you want to pay the next payment or full balance of your payment plan early, simply log into the Klarna app, go to the “All Orders” page, and select “Payment Options.”
