Every COOLA formula is crafted with at least 70% certified organic ingredients. Our ingredients are certified organic by third-party USDA-accredited certifying agents, including:

Here at COOLA, we are conscious about what goes into our products, but we're equally as concerned with what we keep out. We follow a strict restricted ingredient list that goes beyond industry standards to exclude over 1000+ unwanted ingredients from all of our formulations.

In addition, benzene is not an ingredient in any of our products. Benzene can be detectable in some raw materials, including those derived from petrochemicals and petroleum. Our strict formulation standards prohibit the use of petroleum-derived ingredients in our formulas. In the recent report released by Valisure LLC, the COOLA products tested were confirmed NOT to contain benzene.

All of our products are infused with powerful antioxidants that help fight free radicals, such as Red Raspberry Seed Oil, Linseed Oil Extract, Cocoa Seed Extract, Buriti Oil, and Prickly Pear Extract.

Waste Reduction

  • Glass

    Glass is highly recyclable. We use glass as much as we can, and in fact, the majority of our bottles and jars - over 80% - are made of glass. Plastic is used mainly when needed for the safety and functionality of the product, in which case we strive to use the most responsible options available.

  • Plastic Reduction

    As part of our efforts to reduce plastic and our carbon footprint, all of our tubes are made of sustainably sourced sugar-cane resin.

  • Recycled Materials

    Our secondary packaging is made using recyclable materials. We have also taken steps to reduce our carbon footprint by transitioning to packaging that can be flat-packed.

  • Recyclability

    Over 75% of our cosmetic containers are fully recyclable, with the goal of making our containers 100% recyclable by 2023.

  • Raspberry Seed Oil

    Cold-pressed from the seeds of the Red Raspberry

    From the seeds of the Red Raspberry With its high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids, Raspberry Seed Oil is known for its moisturizing and anti-aging properties. It also contains Vitamins C and E - antioxidants that can help in combating free radical damage.

  • Safflower Oleosomes

    Naturally occurring in the seeds of the Safflower

    In nature, oleosomes encapsulate the precious oil of the Safflower Seed. With its micron-size and its phospholipid and protein coating, it serves as a natural emulsifier that more evenly disperses oil and water formulations, increasing their efficiency. They can also effectively hydrate and moisturize.

  • Buriti Oil

    Extracted from the pulp and seed of  the Buriti fruit, found in tropical areas of South America.

    Known as a super antioxidant, Buriti Oil is one of the richest known sources of beta-carotene and also contains Vitamins C, E, and essential fatty acids. It's known for its ultra moisturizing, skin softening and skin protecting properties.

  • Meadowfoam Seed Oil

    Cold-pressed from the seeds of Limnanthes Alba, a winter plant native to Oregon

    Cold-pressed from the seeds of Limnanthes Alba, a winter plant native to Oregon Rich in antioxidants and fatty acids, it's known for its incredible ability to moisturize and soften skin. Plus with a composition that mimics the natural oil found in skin, it can help rebalance skin and enable more effective delivery of formulas into the skin.

  • Prickly Pear Extract

    Sourced and extracted from the Prickly Pear fruit in Morocco

    Widely known as "cactus pear," it's exceptionally rich in Vitamin E, fatty acids, and antioxidants. Known for its healing and hydrating properties, it can help reinforce and protect the skin barrier while moisturizing and softening skin.
